Associate Marriage & Family therapist

Hello and welcome! As a mother of two and married for almost twenty years, I have a special interest in working with couples experiencing relationship difficulties, individuals struggling in the aftermath of a difficult break up, as well as families and children. I work with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder and other mood disorders.  As your therapist, I am here to help you reduce emotional pain and increase joy in your daily life. Together we explore your past, culture, and significant life events, as well as the present, including your current needs and goals, in order to help you live a more fulfilling and satisfying life. I regard clients as masters of their own destiny with the potential to live happy and meaningful lives. We have one life to live so let's make the best out of it! I am passionate about music and the arts and incorporate expressive arts in my work with younger clients when appropriate.

I am an Associate Marriage and Family therapist at Omid Institute in Irvine. I  received my B.A. in Sociology from UCLA and master's degree in Clinical Psychology with the marriage and family therapy specialization from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. My rates start at $85 per hour for individuals and $105 for 1 1/2 sessions with couples. I look forward to meeting with you.
